Skip the sponsored and generic recommendations. We have experts ready to share their advice whether you're looking for cafés, restaurants, bars, nightlife, culture activities, shopping, outdoor adventures or something else. You can start a chat with just a few clicks, free of charge.

You can download the app and start chatting with locals free of charge. After the chat is concluded you have the option to say thanks by giving the local a tip of your choosing.

After downloading the app in App Store or Play Store it’s really simple to chat and get advice:

1. Choose your favorite local

View available locals, their availability, expertise, ratings and languages. Filter based on your location and preferences. Open a profile to learn more about the local, see their linked social media profiles and read their reviews.

2. Send a message to start a chat

Open a chat through the profile and send a message to start the chat, completely for free. The local will respond based on the availability indicated in their profile.

3. Chat, get advice and say your thanks

Chat until you're satisfied - there are no limitations relating to time, amount of questions or anything else. When you are happy with your recommendations it's time to close the chat. After the chat is closed you can show your appreciation by rating the local, giving a tip or both!

We have launched Guida in Sweden with Stockholm, Åre and Härjedalen as the first cities and regions.

Our plan is to expand one city at the time to ensure we always have enough locals to provide excellent service. You’ll soon find us across Europe!

Anyone can become a Local in our app! If you for example

• Love to eat out and try new places you probably have many favorites among brunch, lunch, and dinner spots.

• Know your way around city's nightlife you probably have good tips about bars, clubs, and events in town.

• Enjoy being outdoors you can surely give good tips on simple day trips or longer hikes.

• Have a strong interest in culture and/or shopping you likely know the best places to visit.

• Know the city like the back of your hand you can certainly give advice on what sights not to miss.

Creating a profile only takes a few minutes, after this the profile will be sent to us for review. You have full control over your availability. When the profile is approved our users can start chats with you and tip you for your advice!
